Title : Business Systems Analyst

Location: Hybrid mode - Toronto greater area - 2d/week onsite

Start date: As soon as possible

Duration : 11 months, renewable

The Business System Analyst (BSA) is responsible for planning, designing, developing, and deploying effective information systems to support organizational functions and business processes. This includes collecting and analyzing data, writing reports, solving functional problems, and supporting development projects. The position is focused on the Guidewire Policy Center system.

Responsibilities

- Strategy and planning

- • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements.

- • Improve system efficiency.

- • Manage delivery plans and resources.

- • Provide support for applications in production.

2.Operational management

- • Draft functional specifications and system models.

- • Define and oversee testing (including user acceptance testing).

- • Train users and document processes.

- • Resolve technical issues and follow up.

- • Manage updates and day-to-day system operations.

Required profile

- Education and certification





- University or college degree in business administration, computer science, or management information systems.

- Guidewire Policy Center Certified certification (Asset).

- Over 10 years of professional experience in a related field.

2 Experience

- • 5 years of experience in the insurance industry.

- • 5 years as a BSA.

- • 5 years of experience with Guidewire Policy Center.

- • Knowledge of Windows operating systems, network hardware, and protocols.

- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, Project, and policy management systems.

- • Experience with Agile methodology.

- • Knowledge of Agency Bill processes, brokerage fees, and commissions.
