As a Bylaw Enforcement Officer, you will conduct community patrols, respond to bylaw infractions, and collaborate with local residents and businesses. Your work will involve independent judgement and strong communication skills, ensuring a protected and compliant environment for all. Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate bylaw complaints and enforce zoning regulations
- Patrol streets and parks, identifying bylaw violations
- Explain bylaws to the public and issue tickets when necessary
- Collaborate with the Coordinated Enforcement Team on issues
- Gather evidence and prepare documents for court cases Requirements:
- Grade 12 completion with related courses
- Experience in inspectional and enforcement roles
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License in British Columbia
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
