Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service to enhance their visit experience
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, with precision and care
- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or baked goods according to health and safety standards
- Operate POS systems like Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including food handling and safety compliance
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Support team members during busy periods by assisting with serving, food prep, or cleaning duties
Skills
- Previous barista experience or food service background preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate
- Experience with vitamins & supplements a great asset
- Experience with sports & recreational programs a great asset
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS for efficient order processing
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with team members
