Job Summary

We’re hiring a Full-Time/Part-Time Cake Decorator/FOH to join our growing team!

Located in the heart of Commercial Drive, we’re a neighbourhood dessert shop proudly serving our local community and customers throughout the Lower Mainland.

Everything we offer is made in-house with care. We’re passionate about creating our signature cheesecakes, modern buttercream cakes, and quality baked goods that look beautiful and taste even better.

Duties

- Assemble and decorate buttercream cakes for our shop display and custom orders
- Create and decorate fondant figurines and decorative features
- Bake and prepare a variety of products, including cakes, cheesecakes, cookies, tarts, cake fillings, buttercream, and other baked goods
- Provide front-of-house support as needed, including operating the cash register, serving customers, packaging products, folding boxes, and general clean-up
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation, kitchen, and overall shop environment

Experience:

- Cake assembling/decorating (Required)
- Baking (Required)
- Food service: 1 year (Required)

Education:

- Food Safety Level 1 certification (Preferred)
- High school completion or equivalent (Required)

Language:

- English

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
