About the Position

We are looking for an experienced and dependable Camp Chef to join our permanent camp operations outside Fort McMurray.

Our camp consists of 34 rooms with approximately 20–25 people on site at any given time. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, nutritious meals while maintaining a clean, organized, and professional kitchen.

Responsibilities

- Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for approximately 20–25 people
- Plan menus and prepare nutritious, satisfying meals suitable for a camp environment
- Accommodate reasonable dietary requirements and food allergies
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, freshness, and food safety
- Order, receive, organize, and properly store food and kitchen supplies
- Maintain accurate food inventory and minimize waste
- Keep kitchen, food preparation areas, appliances, and equipment clean and organized
- Follow all applicable food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements
- Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional camp setting
- Perform other kitchen and camp-related duties as required





Qualifications
- Previous experience as a camp chef, remote-site chef, or high-volume chef
- Strong cooking and menu-planning skills
- Food Safety certification required
- Ability to work independently and manage kitchen operations
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Reliable, qualified, and safety-conscious
- Ability to work a 2 weeks in / 2 weeks out rotation
- Previous oilfield, construction, industrial, or remote camp experience is an asset
