About the Position

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Camp Helper / Cleaner to join our permanent camp team outside Fort McMurray.

Our camp consists of 34 rooms with approximately 20–25 people on site at any given time. This is a hands-on position supporting the overall cleanliness, organization, and day-to-day operation of the camp.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working independently while also being part of a small team.

Responsibilities

- Clean and maintain camp common areas
- Clean and maintain washrooms, hallways, dining areas, and other shared spaces
- Assist with housekeeping and room cleaning as required
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the camp
- Assist with laundry and linen duties
- Help keep supplies organized and stocked
- Assist with garbage and recycling
- Support the kitchen and camp team with general duties when required
- Assist with receiving, moving, and organizing camp supplies
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report supply requirements
- Follow all workplace health, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Help ensure the camp remains clean, safe, welcoming, and well organized




- Perform other general camp duties as required

Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, camp, hotel, or cleaning experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and solid work ethic
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically capable of performing cleaning and general camp duties
- Comfortable working in a remote camp environment
- Safety-conscious and professional
- Ability to work a 2 weeks in / 2 weeks out rotation
- Previous remote-site or camp experience is an asset
