Position Summary:

The Cardiovascular Technologist will be responsible for performing exercise treadmill tests, the stress portion of the stress echocardiogram, cardiopulmonary stress tests, ECGs, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, and Holter studies. The position will involve processing the data, creating preliminary diagnostic reports, and notifying the healthcare team of any urgent or abnormal findings. The role will also involve routine equipment maintenance and crash cart inventory/safety assessments.

Observing and caring for patients in a professional manner throughout the entire diagnostic assessment is also imperative. Full time position or Part-Time considered.

Qualifications

- Completion of a recognized Cardiovascular Technician/Technologist diploma (or equivalent) program, with active registration and membership in good standing with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT) or a similar organization.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required

- Computer skills (keyboarding), familiarization and knowledge of MS Office/EMR, and general internet knowledge are assets.
