Canoe is accepting resumes for mature/ experienced part time work as front end cashiers for our grocery department. Shifts are midweek, weekends, holidays, days and evenings. This position can lead to full time with benefits and a progression with more responsibilities.
Responsible for a range of tasks including, but not limited to, greeting customers, serving customers, accepting cash, credit and debit cards, alcohol, lottery and tobacco sales/ handling, bagging groceries, receiving orders, stocking shelves/ lifting heavy items on a daily basis.
We are growing and very fast paced. This position requires attention to detail, multitasking ability, hustle, enthusiasm, and professionalism.
Experience in grocery or retail would be an asset but not necessary.
