Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Operate Micros POS systems accurately to process cash, credit, and digital payments while handling cash securely
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines, maintaining quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food prep areas, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation protocols
- Assist with upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and food delivery
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service roles is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS or similar platforms, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory counting
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Restaurant or food industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
