The Opportunity

As a Level II Dental Assistant, you will play an important role in both the clinical experience and the overall patient journey. You will work alongside our dentists and clinical team across a broad range of comprehensive dentistry while helping us maintain an organized, efficient and welcoming environment.

Your responsibilities will include

- Preparing treatment rooms and supporting efficient clinical flow
- Chairside assisting for restorative, surgical and other comprehensive dental procedures
- Taking digital radiographs, intraoral photographs and digital scans
- Performing Level II duties within your scope, including polishing, fluoride application, sealants and impressions




- Supporting patients with clear pre- and post-treatment instructions
- Maintaining accurate and thorough clinical records
- Upholding exceptional infection-prevention, sterilization and safety standards
- Anticipating clinical needs and supporting the dentist throughout treatment
- Maintaining inventory and helping ensure clinical supplies are organized and readily available
- Collaborating with the administrative and clinical teams to create a seamless patient experience

Qualifications:

- Certified Level II Dental Assistant from an accredited Ontario program
- Current HARP certification
- Current CPR certification or equivalent
- Strong understanding of dental procedures, sterilization and infection-prevention protocols
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Professional, warm and patient-focused approach
- Ability to work collaboratively in a busy clinical environment




- Experience with digital dentistry and scanning is an asset
- Familiarity with Oryx Dental Software is an asset
