We're a family dental office in Abbotsford, been here over 40 years. We need a licensed dental assistant (CDA, now called LDA) on Saturdays. If you want more than that, weekday shifts and full time Tuesday to Saturday are both open. Saturday is the part we need.

Hours

Saturday 8:00am to 4:30pm every week. That part is fixed.

Want more? Weekday shifts Monday to Thursday, roughly 10:00am to 7:00pm. Optional, not required.

Full time is Tuesday to Saturday.

Fridays and Sundays off either way.

If you've got a job somewhere else and want one steady extra day, or you'd rather keep your weekdays free, this fits.

The job

Chairside with the dentist, room setup and sterilization, and the licensed duties: sealants, impressions, polishing, rubber dam. Weekday shifts are mostly kids and sealants. You need to be licensed with the BC College of Oral Health Professionals as a Licensed Dental Assistant (formerly Certified Dental Assistant), or writing the exam this year.

What you get

$23.50 to $27.00 an hour, depending on experience.
