We’re expanding our team and looking for a motivated Dental Floater / Dental Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, digital, and cosmetic-focused setting. What You’ll Do
- Support hygienists and dentists across rooms with set-ups, turnovers, patient flow, and chairside assistance.
- Capture diagnostic dental photography (extra/intra-oral) for case presentations and cosmetic workflows.
- Take high-quality radiographs (BWs, PAs, PAN as applicable) in compliance with HARP and IPAC standards.
- Perform digital intra-oral scans (iTero) for exams, Invisalign, cosmetic, and restorative cases.
- Maintain sterilization and operatory readiness per IPAC standards while keeping supplies organized.
- Enter accurate clinical notes and contribute to a paperless, fully digital practice.
- Collaborate with the team in morning huddles, daily production, and patient-experience goals.
What You Bring
- HARP certification (required)
- Level II Dental Assisting skills (Ontario)
with experience in a cosmetic or multidisciplinary setting
- Proficiency with dental radiographs in a clinical environment
- Hands-on iTero (or equivalent IOS) scanning experience and comfort with digital workflows
- A career-driven mindset — eager to learn, grow, and take on responsibility
- Comfort working with KPIs, performance targets, and digital systems
- Excellent patient communication skills with a calm, professional demeanor
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Invisalign protocols, whitening, and esthetic case photography
- Previous experience with morning huddles and production/patient-experience tracking
Compensation & Details
- Salary: Starting at $23/hour (commensurate with experience)
- Job Types: Full-time or Part-time
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of dental assisting preferred
