We’re looking for aRed Seal Certified Electrician to join ourAthabasca OSB Division, located inSlave Lake, Alberta. Thisstate-of-the facility has the longest continuous press in North America, giving us the ability to produce a diverse range of innovative products for customers around the world. Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

- Experience working as an Electricianwith avalid Interprovincial Red Seal ticket.
- Strong diagnostic andproblem solvingskills.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) -preferablyJD Edwards.
- Robust communication skills.
- Ability towork independentlyand with a team.
- Experience withMicrosoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

In this role you will:

- Apply your knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)andHuman Machine Interface (HMI) systemstotroubleshoot electrical issuesand come up with safe, reliable fixes.
- Use your broad electrical experience to dopreventative maintenanceas well asinstallations and upgrades, working on a variety ofmotors, hydraulic motion controls, optimizers and encoders.
- Come up with innovative solutions toimprove equipment reliability.
