Compensation: $70,000 per year
Benefits: 100% employer‑paid (health, dental, vision, extended benefits on day 1)
Commission: 9% monthly commission
Schedule: Full‑time, Remote
Reports To: Operations Manager
Location: Remote (Canada or USA)
Probation for 90 days
4 Weeks paid vacation
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, detail‑oriented Remote Logistics Coordinator to support high‑value project freight operations across North America. This role focuses exclusively on operations, coordination, carrier management, and execution . There is no sales requirement . You will work closely with shippers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure seamless movement of specialized and high‑value freight.
This position offers a competitive salary, full employer‑paid benefits, monthly commission, and a company‑provided phone. Salary is paid bi‑weekly , and commission is paid at the end of each month .
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily freight movements for high‑value and project‑based shipments across North America
- Communicate with carriers, drivers, and dispatch teams to ensure on‑time pickup and delivery
- Track shipments proactively and provide real‑time updates to clients
- Manage documentation including BOLs, PODs, project schedules, and compliance requirements
- Work with operations leadership to support project logistics planning and execution
- Maintain accurate records in the company’s TMS and workflow systems
- Resolve service issues quickly and professionally
- Build strong working relationships with carriers and internal teams
- Ensure all project freight meets safety, compliance, and handling standards
- Support margin protection, cost control, and operational efficiency
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to the company’s non‑solicitation agreement (no non‑compete required)
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in logistics coordination, dispatch, freight operations, or project freight
- Strong understanding of North American trucking, project cargo, and specialized freight
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- High attention to detail and robust organizational skills
- Proficiency with TMS platforms, spreadsheets, and digital communication tools
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously
- Comfortable working with high‑value freight and time‑sensitive projects
