Become a Child Advocate with Boost Child & Youth Advocacy Centre in Toronto. Boost CYAC seeks a dedicated Child Advocate to provide essential support and advocacy for clients attending the centre.
This position involves a mix of day and evening shifts, emphasizing collaboration with police, child protection agencies, and mental health professionals. Understanding trauma is key, and the advocate will assess ongoing needs and provide referrals as required. Offer virtual check-ins to address families' questions
- Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent degree
- Familiarity with the Child, Youth and Family Services Act
- Support children and youth while making a meaningful impact in their lives at Boost CYAC.
