Duties
- Create a variety of high-quality chocolates, truffles, and confections using traditional and cutting-edge techniques.
- Design and execute visually appealing cake decorations and confectionery presentations for special occasions.
- Prepare ingredients with precision, ensuring food safety standards are maintained at all times.
- Package finished products attractively for retail display or customer orders, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food handling and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to develop new recipes and seasonal offerings that excite customers.
- Provide excellent customer service by offering product knowledge,
tasting suggestions, and engaging with clients.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cake decorating, food preparation, or confectionery making within a restaurant or bakery setting.
- Robust skills in food handling, baking, cooking, and food safety practices.
- Knowledge of the food industry standards related to kitchen operations and hygiene protocols.
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment with a focus on pastry arts or chocolate craftsmanship is preferred.
