Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Driver/ Jack and slide Rigger to join our team and play a vital role in supporting transportation and jack and slide projects. This energetic position involves operating various heavy machinery, including telehandlers, skid steers, heavy trucks, while ensuring safe and efficient rigging and transportation of equipment and materials. The ideal candidate will bring construction experience, mechanical knowledge, and excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients.

Training of Jack and slide techniques and procedures will be provided

Duties

- Safely operate telehanders, skid steer,trucks, and other heavy machinery to move equipment and materials on-site.
- Perform rigging tasks by attaching loads securely using appropriate hardware and techniques to ensure safe lifting operations.
- Coordinate with team members to plan load placements, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery, rigging gear,



and safety equipment to maintain optimal operational condition.
- Communicate clearly with team members, site supervisors, and clients to relay progress, identify potential hazards, and ensure smooth workflow.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials from trucks while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of all operations, inspections, and safety checks for accountability and compliance purposes.

Qualifications

- Valid forklift certification; experience operating boom trucks and cranes is highly preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to perform rigging tasks accurately using appropriate hardware and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members, clients, and supervisors.
- Customer service orientation with a professional attitude when interacting with clients or visitors in office.
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Experience with hydraulics and jack and slide techniques is an asset

Pay: $30.00-$44.00 per hour Work Location: On the road
