We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Class 1 Heavy Construction Transport Driver to join our team! Duties

- Safely operate Class 1 heavy-duty trucks, including tractor-trailers and flatbeds, across diverse routes and terrains
- Transport construction materials, heavy equipment, and freight efficiently while complying with all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and trailers to ensure optimal operation and safety standards
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or cranes when necessary




- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site managers, and other team members to coordinate schedules and delivery requirements
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep vehicles in top condition

Qualifications

- Valid Class 1 (semi-truck) commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, or freight transportation within the construction industry
- Knowledge of forklift operation for loading/unloading freight safely and efficiently
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as cranes or loaders is a plus
- Basic automotive repair skills for routine maintenance checks and troubleshooting
- Robust understanding of safety protocols related to heavy vehicle operation
- Jeep and booster experience is an asset
- Wheeler experience is an asset

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour Expected hours: 44.0 – 80.0 per week
