Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Class 1 Tanker Operator, where you will play a vital role in safely transporting liquid cargo across various routes. This energetic position demands precision, responsibility, and a proactive approach to ensure the efficient delivery of products while maintaining the highest safety standards. As a key member of our operations, you will operate heavy-duty tanker trucks, manage loading and unloading processes, and uphold compliance with transportation regulations.

Duties

- Safely operate Class 1 (semi-truck) tanker vehicles to transport liquids over designated routes, adhering strictly to all safety and traffic laws.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking fluid levels, brakes, tires, and safety equipment.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or other heavy machinery while following safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including logs, delivery receipts, and compliance records.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on trucks and equipment to ensure optimal performance.




- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and clients to coordinate schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
- Follow all company policies and regulatory requirements related to hazardous materials handling and transportation.

Experience

- Proven experience operating Class 1 commercial trucks with a clean driving record.
- Familiarity with forklift operation, freight handling, and heavy equipment operation is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues on the road.
- Prior experience in transporting liquids or hazardous materials is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of transportation safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items, climbing into trucks, and conducting inspections comfortably.
