Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in commercial spaces.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools as necessary for maintenance and cleaning tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify areas needing attention or repairs.
- Carry out heavy lifting as required to move furniture or equipment during cleaning operations.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services.
- Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, contributing to the overall upkeep of the premises.
Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
