Start date: As soon as onboarding is cleared. Must be able to work both day and afternoon shifts if needed. Days - Mon to Fri 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. Afternoons - Mon to Wed 3:30 pm - 2:30 am and Thurs 3:30 pm to 12:30 am.
Must be available for overtime if required. Previous machine operator experience required. (Minimum 1-3 years) PPE equipment will be supplier by Client, including safety glasses (if prescription glasses needed, to be supplied by worker), gloves, and hearing protection. Must have safety shoes, these are not provided.
Details of position - machine casting for gas valves, machine and assembly. Exp with lathes, Mills or Drill Press, machine shop exp. Area has excessive noise, working with paint solvents, machining fluids and glues.
In office visits are permitted if requested by agencies. Lifting will exceed 30 Lbs. and/or repetitions of this or lesser weights will be significant. Candidate must be able to read blue prints and follow written instructions, use measuring equipment (eg. verniers) Must have a HS diploma or GED Safety shoes required Position available for 2 months with potential for extensions, depending on business needs.
