Best Brains is a leading academic enrichment franchise serving students ages 3–14 in Math, English, Abacus, and Coding. Our new South Surrey center is opening soon, and we're building our founding teaching team.
Position: Coding Teacher (Part time/Full-Time)
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of foundational coding concepts (block-based coding, Scratch, Python, or similar, depending on age group)
- Background in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred
- Experience teaching or tutoring children ages 3–14 preferred
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Passion for making coding fun, logical, and accessible to young learners
Responsibilities:
- Deliver small-group and one-on-one coding instruction using the Best Brains curriculum
- Guide students through age-appropriate coding concepts and projects
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents
- Create an engaging, supportive learning environment
- Maintain accurate student records and progress reports
