Responsibilities
- Conduct demographic, social and economic analyses
- Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops or symposia
- Prepare funding and grant applications and proposals
- Manage personnel information database
- Maintain registration systems, records and files
- Maintain accurate records
- Evaluate curriculum programs and recommend improvements
- Develop teaching materials and other resources for program delivery
- Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
- Develop, co-ordinate and implement the delivery of specific services within the community
- Liaise with departmental and corporate officials and with other organizations and associations
- Develop prevention and intervention programs to meet community needs
- Interpret for persons speaking an Aboriginal or foreign language
- Direct and advise staff in the development and implementation of service quality assessment strategies
- Represent the company within various economic and social organizations
- Prepare flight evaluation reports
- Identify barriers to employment and assist clients with such matters as job readiness skills, job search strategies, writing résumés and preparing for job interviews
- Produce informational materials to increase awareness of services available
- Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization
- Engage in community program development
- Analyze immigration and refugee programs and policy
