In this key role, you will provide physical, emotional, and social supports to individuals, empowering them to live active lives both at home and in their communities.
Responsibilities include implementing care plans, managing crises, and working with families and community members.
Experience with autism and behavior management is preferred. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living skills and chores
- Follow personalized care plans to provide effective support
- Utilize crisis intervention techniques during challenging situations
- Administer first aid and medications as necessary
- Record detailed daily observations and reports
Requirements:
- Relevant diploma/degree in human services or a related field
- Minimum one year of experience in disabilities support
- Mandatory valid Class 5 Driver’s License and vehicle
- Capable of performing physical care tasks as needed
- Certification in First Aid/CPR and crisis intervention
