About the job Construction Estimator / Office Admin Essential Painting Pro is a professional residential and commercial painting company based in Toronto. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive estimates for residential and commercial painting projects.

This role is critical in supporting business growth by evaluating project requirements, preparing proposals, and contributing to the successful acquisition of new projects. Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations for residential and commercial painting projects Review project drawings, specifications, and scope of work to determine project requirements Conduct site visits when required to assess project conditions, surface preparation needs, materials,



and labor requirements Calculate material quantities, labor hours, equipment needs, and project timelines Maintain accurate records of submitted bids, pricing history, and project data Assist in negotiating pricing and scope clarification with clients when required Project Coordination and Support Support project handoff to operations team after project award Assist in tracking project costs versus estimated costs Maintain estimating databases and cost tracking systems Minimum 2 years of experience as an Estimator in painting, construction, or a related industry Experience preparing estimates for residential and commercial projects Ability to read drawings, specifications, and project documents Robust proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
