As an Controls Developer, you will provide engineering support for our industry-leading products to our most valued customers.

From resolving product related issues and addressing design challenges to troubleshooting technical problems, there's nothing you can't solve. Beyond problem-solving, you 'll be collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure our products continue to deliver exception quality and value. Provide top-tier engineering support to customers through troubleshooting, or addressing design challenges Lead the design and implementation of product life cycle & roadmap activities Select and validate suitable sensors, actuators and electronic components for system integration.

Develop, maintain, and optimize technical and project processes using JIRA, Confluence, Word, etc. Support on-site control system and locomotive commissioning at globally located rail yards 5+ years of experience supporting products as an Electrical Engineer ~2+ years of field service experience ~ A related degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Control or Electronic ~ Proficient in PLCs (Siemens, Rockwell, etc.)



~ Strong technical writing and documentation skills ~ Profound understanding of control algorithms and design practices ~ Knowledgeable in industrial communication protocols (Profinet, RS-232, etc.) ~ Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate to an array of technical and non-technical audiences ~ Ability to 20%-25% travel and work in industrial environments ZTR offers a positive working environment and a group of friendly and talented industry leaders passionate about driving environmental and financial benefits for our clients.
