Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with efficiency, consistency, and attention to detail
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, measuring, and assembling ingredients to ensure timely meal service
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination
- Serve dishes to guests promptly while maintaining a high standard of presentation and quality
- Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks in the kitchen environment




- Maintain inventory levels by properly storing ingredients and notifying management of shortages or spoilage
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and uphold excellent food service standards

Requirements

- Food safe certification
- Serving it right certification
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Solid understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Prior experience with serving customers or working in a restaurant workplace is highly desirable
