Reality Labs Research (Reality Labs Research) brings together a multidisciplinary and highly interdisciplinary team of researchers and engineers to create the future of dexterous robotic manipulation.
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to scale, optimize and support our simulated robotics cloud training infrastructure, policy deployment pipelines and continuous integration infrastructure. You will optimize training pipelines, build cloud infrastructure, resolve regressions and unblock researchers across the team.
Responsibilities ● Policy Training Infrastructure: Build robotics control policy training infrastructure. Including identifying performance optimizations on existing pipelines, writing CI tests to prevent regressions, diagnosing system failures, and building Client cloud training systems. ● Design, build, document, integrate and support software for dexterous robotics manipulation policy training and deployment. ● Collaborate with researchers and software engineers across disciplines to solve complex problems ● Write clean readable code with tests,
debug complex problems that span systems and get things done with a high level of efficiency
Minimum Qualifications ● BSc degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent industry experience ● 3 years of industry experience with Python and C ● Experience building ML training systems, infrastructure and tests ● Experience accelerating ML training speed and/or performance optimizing complex software systems ● Experience with cloud computing services ● Experience shipping one or more systems of high complexity using standard software development tool sets such as source control, unit testing and continuous integration systems
Preferred Qualifications ● Experience building Data Pipeline/ETL Systems ● Experience with robotic policy training and/or robotic simulation ● Experience with Unreal Engine and/or Computer Graphics EEO:
