Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Customer Service and Food Preparation Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving food in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, excellent communication skills, and a strong focus on sanitation and safety standards.

This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, cashiering, and restaurant operations, contributing to a positive dining experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service, taking orders and addressing customer inquiries
- Manage cashier duties, including processing payments accurately and upselling menu items when appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold health regulations
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed




- Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery
- Uphold high standards of sanitation, including proper cleaning of equipment and workspaces
- Demonstrate effective time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently during shifts

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation practices is advantageous
- Robust customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations
- Experience in food preparation, serving, cashiering, or the food industry is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior kitchen experience or food industry background will be beneficial for success in this role
- English speaking, writing and understanding required
- Languages considered an asset are Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi​

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $2,500.00-$2,900.00 per month
