Responsibilities

- Safely operate heavy-duty vehicles designated for D Class licensing, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload goods with proper techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary, to prevent damage and injury
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules while maintaining flexibility for unforeseen circumstances
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate pick-up and drop-off times
- Assist with warehouse activities such as organizing cargo, securing loads,



and supporting team members as needed
- Able to lift heavy items into home. Delivery of Furniture and Appliances, mixed with dock to dock
- Thursday to Tuesday shifts, 730am start (Wednesday/Thursdays off)

Experience

- Valid D Class driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in driving heavy vehicles or trucks in a professional setting
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
- Familiarity with transportation regulations, safety procedures, and route planning tools
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with team members and clients
- Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and manual tasks associated with loading cargo
