Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in building and administering SQL Server environments (2016, 2019)
- Working knowledge of Cloud Computing and Azure
- Experience with VMWare Technologies
- Demonstrated experience with SQL Patching and automation using tools such as PowerShell and Ansible
- Strong understanding of ITIL framework
- Proven ability to effectively interact with individuals across business units
- Highly organized with strong analytical skills
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Financial Services IT experience
- Broad experience with IP networking concepts - routers, firewalls, etc.
- SQL Server Certification
- Experience with MongoDB, Sybase, and PostgreSQL
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Consult, design, build, test, and deploy quality database solutions
- Administer SQL database infrastructure from design to production support
- Troubleshoot and tune database and server performance issues
- Provide 3rd level on-call support on a rotational basis
- Maintain a positive attitude while working with high demands and tight deadlines
