Responsibilities

- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight across designated routes.
- Load and unload parcel ensuring proper handling and secure placement of goods.
- Verify delivery accuracy by inspecting labels, completing necessary SOP, and obtaining signatures from recipients if wanted .
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Communicate proactively with dispatchers regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during routes.
- Assist with basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor vehicle issues to minimize downtime.




- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws diligently to ensure safe transportation at all times.

Requirements

- Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Smart phone with data plan and knowledge of maps.
- Proven experience in commercial driving.
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting minor vehicle problems.
- Robust organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation and delivery verification.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks as needed.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and customers.
