Main Responsibilities

Manufacturing Analysis and Cost Accounting

- Participate in maintaining and validating standard product costs.

- Analyze production, raw material, labor, and efficiency variances.

- Monitor inventory and required adjustments.

- Collaborate with production, purchasing, and operations teams to ensure the accuracy of manufacturing data.

- Participate in margin and profitability analysis by product, project, or customer.

- Contribute to the improvement of manufacturing performance indicators (KPIs).

- Participate in physical inventory counts and inventory variance analyses.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost optimization efforts.

Accounting and Financial Reporting

- Participate in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.

- Prepare various month-end journal entries.

- Participate in the monthly and annual closing process.

- Produce various financial reports and analyses for management.

- Participate in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

- Support external audits and government requests.

- Contribute to the improvement of internal controls and accounting processes.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.





- Professional accounting designation (CPA) required.

- 3 to 7 years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing workplace.

- Good understanding of the full accounting cycle.

- Knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting principles.

- Experience with manufacturing ERP system.

- Advanced Excel skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to regular interactions with English-speaking suppliers, partners, and stakeholders as part of the company's manufacturing and financial operations.
