Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Apple/Infosys is seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Sunnyvale, CA, or Austin, TX. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in streamlining our software development and deployment processes, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and CircleCI.
- Infrastructure Automation: Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
- Containerization and Orchestration: Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Cloud Services Management: Oversee cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), including provisioning, monitoring, and scaling of resources.
- Monitoring and Logging: Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, and Splunk to ensure system health and performance.
- Security: Integrate security practices into the DevOps pipeline (DevSecOps), ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline the development lifecycle and improve overall efficiency.
- Incident Management:



Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance, security, and reliability, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.

Key Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in DevOps, with a strong background in software development and system administration.
- Tools and Technologies: Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Scripting and Automation: Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Ruby. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
- Monitoring and Logging: Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios) and logging solutions (ELK stack, Splunk).
- Security: Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and tools. Understanding of security best practices in CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, experience working in agile teams, and a strong understanding of version control systems (Git).

Preferred Qualifications

- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or Google Professional DevOps Engineer.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Soft Skills: Robust problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to learning new technologies and improving processes.
