Job Title: DevOps Lead

About the Role

Infosys is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Lead to drive the architecture, implementation, and optimization of DevOps practices for a large-scale enterprise program. This is a leadership role requiring a blend of hands-on engineering expertise and strategic guidance, with a focus on Azure cloud services, CI/CD automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Architect, design, and implement scalable and secure CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Pipelines and/or GitHub Actions.

- Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices with Terraform and ARM templates to provision and manage Azure resources.

- Implement DevSecOps best practices, integrating security testing, compliance checks, and vulnerability scanning into pipelines.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, QA, IT operations) to ensure smooth delivery across the SDLC.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash) to streamline processes and reduce manual intervention.

- Provide advanced troubleshooting and resolution of issues related to infrastructure, applications, and CI/CD environments.

- Champion monitoring,



observability, and proactive performance optimization in cloud-native environments.

Required Qualifications

- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related roles with proven expertise in Azure-based environments.

- 2+ years in a technical lead capacity, providing direction, mentorship, and technical oversight.

- Strong hands-on experience with Azure services (VMs, AKS, App Services, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, Storage, API Management, Relay, AI Foundry).

- Expertise in CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions).

- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and microservices deployment.

- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (PowerShell, Python, or Bash).

- Solid experience with Git and repository management.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) or other Azure certifications.

- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet).

- Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Recent Relic).

- Familiarity with multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP).

- Programming knowledge in C#/.NET, Java, or Python.
