Responsibilities

- Assist with the preparation and delivery of meals, ensuring timely and accurate service according to dietary guidelines.
- Set up dining areas, including arranging tables, utensils, and condiments to create an inviting atmosphere.
- Support residents during meal times, offering assistance with feeding as needed while respecting their dignity and preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas by following sanitation standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Monitor residents’ food intake and report any concerns or special dietary requirements to the dietary team.
- Stock supplies, organize storage areas,



and manage inventory to ensure all necessary items are readily available.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure environment for residents and staff alike.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in food service or healthcare settings is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach toward residents and team members.
- Knowledge of basic food safety standards and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays if required.
