Our Legal Digital Monitors offer the highest professional standards in out-of-court examinations, arbitrations, certified court transcripts and more. We are seeking a Legal Digital Monitor to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing on site digital court reporting and transcription services, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of legal records.
This role involves managing digital recording equipment, monitoring live legal proceedings, and coordinating with legal professionals to deliver high-quality transcriptions.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor digital recording equipment during legal proceedings, including trials, depositions, and hearings.
- Ensure the accuracy and clarity of recorded audio and video files.
- Transcribe or oversee the transcription of recorded legal proceedings.
- Review and edit transcriptions for accuracy, grammar, and legal terminology.
- Maintain secure and organized digital files of recorded proceedings and transcriptions.
- Coordinate with counsel, court personnel, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth digital reporting processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with recording equipment.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in digital court reporting and transcription.

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Certification in court reporting or digital transcription is a plus.
Experience:
- Proven experience in digital monitoring, court reporting, or a related legal field.
- Proficiency in using digital recording equipment and transcription software.
