Digital Marketing & Advertising Specialist

Golden River LED is looking for a Digital Marketing & Advertising Specialist to manage our website and social media presence while helping develop and promote new LED advertising locations throughout Greater Vancouver.

The primary focus of this position is website management, social media marketing, digital content creation, and LED advertising location development and promotion. Direct sales is a secondary responsibility.

Main Responsibilities

Website Management & Online Marketing

- Regularly update and maintain the Golden River LED website
- Upload current projects, photos, videos, advertising locations and case studies
- Update products, services and company information
- Create and improve website content
- Perform basic SEO optimization to improve Google search visibility
- Keep website content professional, accurate and up to date
- Monitor website inquiries and online leads

Social Media Management
- Manage and regularly update Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other social media platforms
- Create and publish posts, short videos, project showcases and promotional content
- Promote Golden River LED projects and available advertising locations
- Maintain a consistent social media posting schedule
- Increase online visibility, engagement, website traffic and inquiries
- Respond to and organize inquiries generated through social media

LED Advertising Location Development
- Research and identify new high-traffic and high-visibility locations suitable for LED advertising screens
- Use Google Maps, online research, AI tools and other resources to discover potential locations
- Research commercial properties, storefronts, restaurants, shopping areas, entertainment venues and other suitable locations
- Identify property owners, landlords, business owners and decision-makers




- Contact potential location partners and introduce LED advertising opportunities
- Help develop partnerships for installing and operating new LED advertising screens
- Maintain an organized database of potential advertising locations and contacts

LED Advertising Promotion
- Promote existing and new LED advertising locations online
- Create advertising packages, presentations and promotional content for available locations
- Identify businesses that may be interested in advertising on our LED screens
- Use online platforms, social media and direct outreach to promote advertising opportunities
- Research local advertising markets, competitors and potential advertisers
- Help generate advertising inquiries and new business opportunities

AI & Content Marketing
- Use ChatGPT and other AI tools as part of the daily marketing workflow
- Create website content, social media posts and advertising copy
- Use AI tools to assist with images, videos and promotional materials
- Research competitors, locations and potential advertisers
- Use AI to improve SEO, content creation, research and marketing efficiency
- Explore new AI tools and marketing methods that can improve company exposure

Qualifications
- Experience or strong interest in digital marketing and social media
- Comfortable using ChatGPT and other AI tools
- Familiar with Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
- WordPress or website management experience preferred
- Basic SEO knowledge is an asset
- Photo and video editing experience is an asset
- Canva, CapCut, Adobe or similar experience is an asset
- Strong online research skills
- Good English writing and communication skills
- Comfortable contacting businesses and potential partners
- Creative, organized and able to work independently

Previous LED industry experience is not required. Training will be provided.

Compensation

$20/hour base pay + 1% commission on qualifying business generated through your work
