- Lead and develop a high-performing credit management team
- Oversee assigned portfolios, including new and revised facilities, loan agreement compliance, annual reviews, renewals, credit and transactional excesses, and continuous credit oversight
- Manage monthly/quarterly portfolio monitoring and borrowing base assessments
- Complete annual risk assessments and credit comments
- Identify deteriorating portfolio situations and assess qualitative and quantitative credit and borrower risks
- Recommend courses of action to CCG and GRM
- Monitor policy changes, regulatory and audit priorities, annual reviews, and compliance verification
- Conduct spot checks to ensure work quality and identify learning opportunities
- Foster continual staff training and act as a key referral resource for internal partners
- Establish a positive, collaborative environment through feedback and performance coaching
- Work with Managing Directors and other team leaders on Credit Management projects Requirements
5 – 10 years of experience in Lending/Credit or Risk management
Strong financial, risk analysis and accounting skills
Proven people management and leadership skills with the ability to work in a team environment
Professional written and verbal communication skills with robust PC skills
Ability to prioritize work and manage competing demands from various groups
MBA, CFA, CA, or other professional designation (nice-to-have)
Knowledge of Corporate Client Group/RBC Capital Markets credit processes and loan agreements (nice-to-have) Core Competencies
