Duties
- Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing to meet each pet’s specific needs and owner preferences
- Handle dogs safely and gently, ensuring a stress-free experience for every pet
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools, stations, and work areas to ensure a hygienic environment
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming requests and provide professional advice on pet care
- Keep detailed records of each grooming session, noting special instructions or health concerns
- Support team members in maintaining a positive,
energetic atmosphere that promotes excellent customer service
Requirements
- Proven experience in dog grooming or related pet care roles is mandatory; training in our methods will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong customer service skills to build rapport with pet owners and address their needs confidently
- Ability to lift heavy objects such as grooming equipment or large dogs safely and comfortably
- Excellent communication skills to clearly understand client requests and explain grooming procedures
- Compassionate attitude towards animals with patience for handling dogs of all temperaments
- Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday in a quick-paced workplace
