Duties

- Provide daily care for dogs, including feeding, watering, and administering medications as needed
- Maintain clean and sanitary kennel areas through regular cleaning and disinfecting
- Monitor dogs’ behavior to ensure safety and well-being, intervening when necessary
- Assist pet owners with check-in and check-out procedures, answering questions with enthusiasm
- Handle heavy lifting tasks such as moving kennels, supplies, dog food and equipment safely and efficiently
- Observe dogs for signs of distress or illness and report concerns promptly to management
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed to prevent accidents or injuries

Qualifications

- Prior experience in customer service or animal care is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for working with animals is essential




- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and comfortably throughout the shift
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with pet owners and team members
- Reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented with a passion for animals
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during your shift
- Willingness to follow safety procedures diligently and maintain a clean workplace
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to handle loud dogs barking and lots of noise

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
