Performs and documents required sanitization of toys, surfaces, materials, and shared spaces.

Maintains a clean, hygienic, and organized classroom.

Follows food safety procedures and the Food Restriction List.

Reviews and follows individual medical, allergy, and anaphylaxis plans.

Responds appropriately to medical or allergy-related concerns.

Completes attendance records accurately at drop-off and pick-up.

Uses Lillio consistently and appropriately.

Collects and organizes children's artwork and work samples.

Builds positive, trusting relationships with parents/guardians.

Provides meaningful daily updates regarding children's experiences and learning.

Uses positive, responsive, and developmentally appropriate guidance strategies.





Shares ideas, resources, and observations with colleagues.

Demonstrates flexibility when classroom needs change.

Qualifications:

Post Secondary Education AND Experience working with children

Early Childhood Assistant Diploma

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Works effectively with PIRS Resource Consultants and other community professionals.

Demonstrates knowledge of and compliance with the CCEYA.

Follows Ministry of Education requirements and guidelines.

Works effectively with PIRS Resource Consultants and other community professionals.

Demonstrates professionalism in interactions with children, families, colleagues, and leadership.

Participates in required training and professional development.
