We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our team and support the development and well-being of the children in our care.

About the Role

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will work as part of a team to provide high-quality care and age-appropriate learning experiences for infants and toddlers.

You will help create a nurturing environment where children feel secure, supported, and encouraged to explore and learn.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide attentive, responsive, and nurturing care to children.
- Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities that support children's physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and language development
- Follow children's individual routines, including meals, naps, diapering, and personal care
- Observe children's interests, development, and behaviour and use these observations to support learning
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children and families
- Maintain a clean, organized,



and safe classroom environment
- Follow all health, safety, and childcare policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with other educators and centre staff
- Communicate regularly and professionally with families
- Support an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and respected
- Complete required documentation and daily records
- Attend staff meetings, training, and professional development as required

Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year experience working in Childcare facility.
- Valid Early Childhood Educator (ECE) certification recognized in British Columbia
- Current First Aid/CPR certification
- Clear criminal record check as required for working with children
- Knowledge of child development and early learning practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to create positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
- Reliable, responsible, and professional
- Previous experience working with infants and toddlers is an asset

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour Expected hours: 37.5 per week
