** position is located in Fort McMurray, Syncrude site. Work shift:
- Fort McMurray: preferred 5 – 8's (Mon to Friday, 8 hours per day) or 7 days on/ 7 days off (12 hours per day).
WHATYOU WILLEXPERIENCEIN THIS POSITION:
- Provides engineering design and analysisof EHT (Electrical Heat Trace) Systemswithin assigned project scope of work. This includes conceptual studies, layouts, specification development, and engineering drawings.
- BuildConstruction Work Packages (CWP’s) and Quality Work Packages, complete with all applicable content such as BillOfMaterials (BOM’s), Test sheets, EngineeredDrawings.
- Analyze project progress and, work with project manager to adjust scope,timelinesandcost
- Prepare requisitions asthe need arisesfor the projectteams
- Preparing material documentation for customers including EHT controllers, data specifications, and any necessary customer documents as per project specifications
- Analyze and communicate with the supply and procurement team priorities,expeditingand shipping within theproject
- Expedite any materials within supply chain and developschedulesEnsure documentation ismaintainedthrough the projectduration
- Change order support including development, quantity tracking and collection, and documentpreparation.
- Doing field checks in a live plant.
YOU HAVE:
- Obtaining a degree in Electricalor MechanicalEngineering or related Engineering degree; from an accredited post-secondary institution
- Knowledgeof the engineering, maintenance and/or operations experience at a petrochemical facility or industrial site.PreviousEHT experience is aplus
- Ability to adapt to multiple projects andpriorities
- Strong interpersonal, written and communication skills
- Ability toprioritizepriorities based ondeadlineswith attention to detail and accuracy
- Valuable MicrosoftOffice, other Database experience can be aplus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Willingness to learn how to retrieve and work withdata
- Possess solid time management skills.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer, construction, and project sites as required.
- This position is designated as safety-sensitive and requires compliance with applicable company health, safety, and fitness-for-duty requirements.
- WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System)/ CSTS Certification
