Enterprise Architect Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect Consultant to lead the assessment, design, and evolution of a customer’s marketing technology ecosystem. This role will focus on evaluating the current-state architecture, developing a future-state “NorthStar Architecture” aligned with Adobe best practices, and translating architectural recommendations into actionable workstreams.

This is a one-year consulting contract, with a strong possibility of extension based on business requirements, project progress, and consultant performance. The successful candidate will work closely with customer stakeholders and Adobe specialists, including executive-level leaders, to define scalable solutions, address architectural gaps, and support the successful execution of transformation initiatives.

Functions

- Perform a current-state architecture assessment of the MarTech ecosystem.
- Create a NorthStar Architecture for the customer ecosystem, incorporating Adobe best practices.
- Validate the NorthStar Architecture against customer use cases and business requirements.
- Assess the current-state and NorthStar architectures across key functional capability areas of the Adobe suite to determine recommended architectural changes.
- Create workstreams based on recommended architectural changes.
- Participate in operational Runbook assessments.
- Work with customers to identify and resolve workstream blockers affecting the NorthStar Architecture.
- Communicate architectural findings, recommendations, risks, and dependencies to both technical and executive stakeholders.




- Support alignment between business objectives, technical requirements, solution architecture, and implementation plans.

Skillsets and Qualifications
- Experience in general MarTech enterprise architecture.
- Experience with at least three Adobe solutions, including experience with at least one Adobe Experience Platform application, such as:

- Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO)
- Adobe Customer Data Platform (CDP)
- Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA)
- Strong understanding of integrations and data flows within the Adobe solution ecosystem.
- Familiarity with data architectures, including data lakes, relational data warehouses, and other common enterprise architecture patterns.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and customer-facing acumen.
- Excellent documentation skills, including the ability to create transparent and effective system diagrams.
- Ability to work effectively in small teams of two to three people or independently lead engagements.
- Experience leading engagements without a project manager, including responsibility for key communications, coordination, and stakeholder alignment.
- Demonstrated experience gathering and documenting business requirements and aligning scope with customer business goals.
- Strong executive presence, with experience presenting to and leading discussions with VP-level and senior executive stakeholders.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, identify risks and dependencies, and drive workstreams toward completion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
