We are seeking a skilled and dependable Equipment Operator/Labourer and Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our construction team. The ideal candidates will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with heavy equipment, and a commitment to safety and efficiency on-site.
Operator/Labourer Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery including dozers, excavators, and graders, with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and basic troubleshooting on equipment
- Assist with site preparation, grading, and other construction activities as needed
- Support the movement of materials and supplies around the construction site using appropriate equipment
- Follow project plans and specifications to ensure accurate execution of tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely
Mechanic Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, service trucks, and transport trucks & trailers
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine issues.
- Complete accurate service records and maintenance documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work workplace.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
