We are seeking for an Event Planner Intern to join our AI Venture Lab initiative.

This role will focus on organizing events and networking opportunities to engage investors and key stakeholders, supporting our mission to establish a dynamic AI incubator in Etobicoke. You’ll work closely with senior leaders,



gaining firsthand experience in the rapidly evolving AI startup landscape. We have a scheduled ongoing placement immediately and an ongoing bi‑weekly placement.

We are screening candidates for Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 to align with academic internship schedules. Your placement can be either full‑time or part‑time but must be a minimum of 520 hours to complete our program. We allow flexibility to avoid any conflicts with academic responsibilities.

Event Planning: Organize and coordinate investment‑related events, from logistics to scheduling and participant engagement, in alignment with our strategic goals.

Market Research: Perform research to inform event themes, content, and strategy, connecting our initiatives with industry trends and business objectives. Develop event reports and presentations with the team, showcasing outcomes and providing insights to stakeholders.

Professional Development: Stay current with trends in event planning, investment, and AI technology, enhancing both your skills and NovaForge’s competitive edge. Currently pursuing or completed a Master’s in business, event management, hospitality or related fields.



Demonstrated interest or academic background in event planning, stakeholder engagement, hospitality or related fields.

Excellent planning and organizational skills to coordinate events smoothly. Enthusiasm for the intersections of technology, finance, and event planning. Engage directly with senior management and advisory board members.

Get priority consideration for full‑time roles post‑internship. This is a full‑time & part‑time, paid internship with flexibility for your placement options and starting dates. Location or academic constraints should not deter you from applying.

The compensation will be $32-$35 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
