Bar Karma is looking for outgoing, motivated, and entrepreneurial Bar & Club Promoters to join our team and help drive patron traffic, events, and revenue.

This is an opportunity for someone who loves nightlife, meeting people, building relationships, creating events, and turning connections into business.

THE ROLE

As a Bar & Club Promoter, your primary goal is simple:

Bring people in, create memorable nights, and increase sales.

You will help Bar Karma grow its customer base by promoting events, building a network of patrons, creating new opportunities, and developing relationships that turn into repeat business.

This is an in-person, hands-on role. Social media can be an important tool, but this position is not simply a social media management job.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Promote Bar Karma and its events to generate consistent patron traffic
- Build and maintain your own network of customers, groups, nightlife contacts, and local connections
- Bring individuals and groups into the venue
- Develop and promote themed nights, parties, special events, and other experiences
- Help generate birthdays, celebrations, group outings, corporate events, and private bookings
- Develop relationships with university/college groups, businesses, organizations, event planners, influencers, creators, and other potential partners
- Identify opportunities for bottle/table bookings, group reservations, private events, and other revenue-generating opportunities
- Network with guests in person and develop repeat customers
- Follow up with previous guests and encourage them to return
- Use social media, direct outreach, networking, and other creative marketing strategies to generate business
- Attend and actively participate in events at Bar Karma




- Represent Bar Karma professionally both inside and outside the venue
- Work with management to develop promotions and strategies that increase weekly sales
- Track your results and demonstrate the business you generate
- Think creatively and identify “outside-the-box” opportunities to generate revenue

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR We are looking for people who are:
- Outgoing, confident, and comfortable approaching new people
- Social and well-connected—or motivated to become well-connected
- Energetic and enthusiastic about nightlife, entertainment, and events
- Comfortable networking and building relationships
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Reliable and consistent
- Comfortable using Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, WhatsApp, and other communication platforms
- Sales-minded and motivated by results
- Creative and able to come up with new event and promotional ideas
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends
- Professional and respectful when representing the venue

Previous promoting, nightlife, hospitality, sales, marketing, event planning, or entertainment experience is preferred, but NOT required. If you have the personality, work ethic, network, and drive to succeed, we are willing to work with you and provide guidance to help you learn the business.

COMPENSATION

Your compensation will be based on consistency, experience, and proven results.

Depending on your experience and performance, compensation may include:

- Commission
- Flat-rate event pay
- Hourly pay




- Performance bonuses
- Salary
- Or a combination of the above

Limited/no experience: Compensation may initially be commission or performance-based while you establish your results. Experienced promoters: Experienced candidates with an existing network and demonstrated ability to generate traffic and revenue may qualify for a different compensation structure.

The more business you generate, the greater your earning potential.

There is an opportunity to grow into a larger role with increased responsibility and compensation based on proven performance.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 3.0 – 40.0 per week
