Experienced Bilingual Restaurant Server

Fluent Mandarin and English Required THE FISH MAN is hiring experienced Servers for our high-volume seafood restaurant in Richmond, BC.

We offer strong and consistent guest traffic with excellent gratuity-earning potential. We are looking for professional Servers who can independently manage a section, understand guest needs and confidently recommend seafood, specialty dishes and beverages.

Compensation

- Base wage: $–$ per hour
- Average gratuities: approximately $20–$25 per hour
- Actual gratuities vary depending on restaurant sales and individual shifts

Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide attentive, professional service
- Explain the menu, daily seafood selections and market-price items
- Understand guest preferences and provide appropriate recommendations
- Take orders accurately and coordinate with the kitchen
- Monitor tables throughout the dining experience
- Recommend seafood, specialty dishes, wine and other beverages





- Process payments accurately
- Complete assigned opening and closing duties
- Work closely with Food Runners and other team members

Requirements
- Minimum one year of restaurant Server experience
- Fluent spoken Mandarin is required for guest and team communication

- Strong English communication skills
- Valid Serving It Right certification
- Able to manage a full section independently
- Strong service awareness and sales ability
- Professional, energetic and courteous
- Reliable evening and weekend availability
- Able to perform consistently in a fast-paced restaurant
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
