Job Summary

We’re hiring a hands-on Fabrication Lead to join a busy custom signage shop in Newmarket. This is a great opportunity for an experienced sign professional who enjoys working on the tools while also guiding a team and keeping production on track.

What You’ll Do

- Fabricate and assemble a variety of custom signage projects (channel letters, illuminated signs, wayfinding, branded environments, etc.)

- Read and interpret drawings and production specifications accurately

- Support production scheduling and help keep workflow organized and efficient

- Troubleshoot fabrication and production issues to avoid delays or rework

- Work closely with design, project management, print, CNC, paint, and installation teams

- Guide and support other fabricators on best practices, quality, and productivity

- Perform quality checks on completed work before installation

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment

- Assist with occasional site work or installations as needed

What We’re Looking For





- 5+ years of experience in sign fabrication

- Strong knowledge of custom signage materials, fabrication methods, and installation readiness

- Ability to read and work from technical drawings

- Leadership or shop-floor coordination experience is an asset

- Experience with CNC, laser cutting, channel letters, vinyl application, print finishing, or illuminated signage is an asset

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Valid G Class driver’s license

- Ability to lift 50+ lbs

- Aerial lift experience is an asset; Fall Arrest certification is preferred
